Halloween Dress Up Party

　　My first time dress up party was not with my classmates or with my family. I joined this party with my cram school students. That was a special experience for me. Before Halloween, my colleague and I decorated our school. We put the vampire dress on the wall, a spider under the ceiling, a scarecrow on the desk and some bugs everywhere. It looked scary and children felt excited to look forward to the party. In Halloween night, we arranged a run way show for them and invited some parents to be the judges. All the children dressed up like witches, fairies, vampires or others ghosts. After the run way show, we took them to walk around the roads. They said “Treat or thick, smell my feet, give me something good to eat” loudly and they got some candies from the shops. The kids had great fun and happy. Then, they went back to our school and had others activities. For example, they listened to the ghost story, walked into the ghost house, and saw the magic show. I thought it was an impressive memory for the kids and for me. Even though it took much time to prepare but it was worth it.

My Impressive city

　　Barcelona is a famous city in Europe. If you like sun, that will be a good place for you. If you like to go shopping, it’s also a fashion city. “La Rambla” will be the best choice for you. Not only go shopping, you also can see many buskers here. However, the most perfect thing in Barcelona is walking on the street. There are so many fantastic buildings and museums everywhere. Casa Mila, Casa Batllo, Montjuich, Museo Picasso and La Sagrada Familia, etc, are all fabulous. My favorite one is “La Sagrada Familia”. I feel shocked when I saw this church. It was amazing and I haven’t seen that kind of building before. La Sagrada Familia has three facanas, “Facana del Naixement”, “Facana de la Passio”, and “Facana de la Gloria”. After I heard the story from the great architect, Antoni Gaudi, I was touched beyond words. It’s so sad that he died in a car accident. That’s also the important reason why this temple has been build for over hundred years but is still not finished. In addition, one famous dish you must try in Barcelona is called “Paella”. It consists of seafood and tastes delicious. Before you leave Barcelona, don’t forget to see the traditional dance “Flamenco”. Having a vacation is Barcelona will be an impressive memory in your life.

Describing my appearance and character

　　My name is Gloria. I am 23 years old and average height and weight. I have long straight black hair with strands colored blond. When I go to work, I always wear glasses. After work, I will wear contact lens to school. It’s hard for me to wear contact lens all day. My eyes will feel dried. I wear a gold necklace but I never wear the bracelet or the watch. I often lose them before because I would take them away when I was washing my hands. I will forget to put it on. That’s why I don’t like to wear the bracelet or the watch. I like to wear pumps because that will make me look higher. I still like to buy pumps because most of them look beautiful and gorgeous. Sometimes it will cost me a lot of money to buy a pair of pumps.
I am a very patient person. I work in a cram school that I need to teach the first and second grade elementary students. I teach them how to do their homework and correct all the mistakes. I also teach them Chinese and math. Even though they have learned that at school, they don’t understand very well. So I need to teach the same course again. Some students have difficulties to remain concentrated in class. I always need to remind them to pay attention on my class. I control myself not to be angry with them. They are only 9 or 10 years old and most of them look so cute. However, it’s hard to request them always sitting on the chairs. If they finish their homework, I let them draw some pictures or teach them to sing some English songs and dance. Some children are good at drawing and some are good at singing or dancing. The children are pure and naïve. When I see they are laughing, I also feel happy.
